Our Target Setting Meetings for parents and carers in the Autumn and Spring terms are a chance to discuss your child’s progress and individual targets.
You will also find a list of key words that your child will be learning to spell during Year 4. It includes words that we encourage children to use in their writing as well as words they often misspell, and runs alongside other spelling objectives that we cover as part of our literacy lessons and weekly spelling practice. We would be grateful for your support in encouraging your child to learn these words by heart by the end of each half term.
We hope you find this information helpful and please do not hesitate to come and see a member of the Year 4 teaching team if you have further questions or queries.
