SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PRIORITIES 2018 – 2019
The full School Improvement Plan is made up of priorities identified by our Notes from the LA and SDBE visits, the most recent Ofsted inspection (July 2016), and HMI Monitoring Inspection visit (May 2017), and in year and end of key stage data collected over the previous year.
The Main Priorities for School Improvement this year are summarised below:
|1||Ensure consistently strong pupil outcomes through strong teaching so that we continue to embed and improve:
|2||Continue to improve the effectiveness of middle leaders through systematic assessment
procedures, rigorous monitoring and developing middle leaders’ coaching skills in order to:
|3||To further enhance the provision of challenge for all so that pupil outcomes meet and exceed national averages:
|4||To expand our broad and balanced curriculum so that pupils are exposed to learning experiences that prepare them well for the next stage|
|5||To Identify and use the most effective interventions to support pupils who are not making progress
as quickly as they are capable of doing (HMI monitoring report, 2017)
NB: Each priority has an associated action plan/s- held at school.
