We will be celebrating World Book Day on Friday 9th March. Please encourage your child to dress as a book character and bring in their 3D books and a book for ‘Book Swap’.
Our Year 1 Children enjoyed a day of dressing up, jousting, juggling, archery and Medieval dancing to continue their themed learning.
Science Club this Term has got off to a very interesting start! They started by checking the sugar content in their favourite drink. The findings were very shocking! They are now looking at the DNA of fruit! Thrilling stuff!
The children had a wonderful time, dressing up, acting out and generally enjoying the visit to Leeds Castle this week.

Year 6 went to the Imperial War Museum this week which ties in with their learning of ‘Rebuilding Britain after World War II.’ The children were enthralled with the exhibitions and the tours and interested and surprised to see how people in Britain lived during those difficult times.
Our Harvest Church Service was amazing. Children brought in donations that will be given to the Manna Charity, who help the homeless and needy. The School Faith Team read the Parable of the Sower Mark 4:1-9 and also read harvest prayers that they had written themselves. The whole school took part in singing the beautiful…
