This week, Year 5 visited the Science Museum as part of their space topic. They saw a stunning 3D film about life and work on the International Space Station before exploring the new Space gallery.
Highlights included the Apollo 10 command module, Helen Sharman’s spacesuit, and a piece of actual moon rock! To end the day, they saw an exciting ‘rocket show’ featuring hydrogen and ethanol ‘rockets’, plus loads of facts about forces. The Year 5s were able to consolidate their learning in Science, English and History, and have a great day.
