Welcome back to school! I hope you and your families enjoyed the half-term break. It’s lovely to see the children back, and I’m looking forward to all we will share together as we move through Advent and towards the Christmas holidays.
Our school value this half term is Peace. In worship and in our classrooms, we’ll be thinking about what it means to be peacemakers. It might mean inviting someone to join a game, listening when we disagree or taking the first step to put things right after a falling-out. As Advent begins, we’ll also reflect on the peace Jesus brings and how we can share it with those around us.
There’s plenty to look forward to, including our school Christmas dinner. I’m also especially looking forward to the PTA Christmas raffle! Thank you to our PTA for bringing families together and giving their time to support the school. You’re welcome to join the PTA group at any point in the year, whether you’d like to help with one event or get involved more regularly. They meet on a Tuesday.
I look forward to seeing you all and sharing a happy and peaceful half term together.
Warm wishes,
Mrs Copeland
