On Tuesday, Year 6 visited the Natural History Museum to support our Science learning about evolution. Our students impressed with their knowledge of genes, inheritance and variation, and adaptation. At the workshop, we learnt a new term: natural selection.
This is Charles Darwin’s theory that living things with desirable traits are more likely to survive and evolve their species. Apart from the workshop, we went to see the museum’s famous dinosaurs and whales! Thank you to all the parent-helpers who accompanied us.
