As we begin the second half of spring term, we focus on our school value – Faith.
This term, Lent and Ramadan fall side by side, reminding us that faith, in many traditions, calls us to reflect, give generously, and care deeply for one another. Lent invites Christians to pause, pray and act with intention as they prepare for Easter. Ramadan is a sacred time for Muslims, centred on fasting, self-discipline, prayer and generosity. Although these traditions are different, they share powerful values that unite us: compassion, service, gratitude and responsibility towards our community.
At All Saints, walking in faith together means more than learning about beliefs — it means standing together. It means choosing to support one another, giving our time, encouragement and resources so that our children can thrive. A strong school is built not only on excellent teaching, but on a community that believes in it, speaks positively about it, and actively invests in it.
We warmly encourage parents and carers to deepen their connection with the school — by joining events, supporting school initiatives, volunteering when possible, and contributing where they are able. Every act of support, large or small, helps us enrich opportunities for our pupils and strengthen the community we are so proud of.
As we reflect during this season, let us commit to walking forward together — united, generous in spirit, and hopeful for the future of our pupils.
With gratitude and hope,
Mrs. Copeland, Head Teacher
